From his Facebook, posted over the last couple months. I know he was recording the new Journey album at this time, so I guess TAGs are all over the new album.

I hope Neal doesn't mind that I shared his. Facebook is kinda public domain, so I guess we are both covered. Ha!

very fun! he was sweet as usual to deal with this time. he told me about his dual fractal rig for the west coast tour he did. two head units and some 400 watt power amps! he ended up with 6 new drop top classics. all with floyds of course. the white classic is from quite some time ago.

Where are the Neal Schon Signature LPs?

Neal is the reason I found Anderson guitars back in 1996. I saw Neal in a Journey video playing an Anderson and with Neal being one of my favorite players, I had to check out the guitars he was playing. Glad too see he has come back to Anderson's. It would be cool too see him with a Bulldog....

NS's love for Andersons may be doing a little bit of good for him in my book. I met him at Bananas At Large in the Bay Area a few years ago and was showing him an instrument that he didn't really care for. He was less than sweet and it kinda stung since I've been a Journey fan since the 4th grade. I came home and told my friends that February of 1982 had officially died in my book (the month Frontiers was released). He's a stellar player but I think I caught him at the wrong time and it left a pretty sour image in my head of a one-time guitar hero of mine.

Again, though, he's a stellar player and it's hard to judge somebody just by a single interaction on what coulda been a bad day.

He sure has great taste though! Look at these six beautiful DT Classics he chose!!! Did he spec these himself?
And I gotta of course give him credit for the all-Floyd option!!! :D ;)

Where are the Neal Schon Signature LPs?

He's been Facebooking about his new line of guitars that will be out before Winter NAMM 2011. It's the black one that looks like his old Schon guitar between the PRS and the Charvel.

I wonder if he felt burned by Gibson when they debuted the Axcess. It is SO close to his signature Les Paul.

Yikes!!! That new signature axe of his looks pretty aweful to me!
I take my previous comment about his good taste back and give all credit to Tom and Roy, assuming that it was really them who speced all six DT Classics for him! :D

very, very COOL!!! Cory, it's always terrible to hear about idols and heroes that don't live up to expectations. Yes I agree, they are human, but without the fans, they are just another struggling artist.

Looks like Neal lost some weight. That has to be good for his health.

Nice guitars as always.

Neal Schon is just one of those rare players that can sound great with both humbuckers and singles! It's great to see him using Andersons again. Didn't Gibson have something that looks like that schon guitar?.... Nighthawk or something...Hmmm....

Gibson Pissing off someone!? No! Can't be....... :D

Seriously.....how does Neil pick a guitar to Play!? Too much of anything is not good......but its a problem I wouldn't mind having!

The New Bulldog is beautiful BTW. Just waiting for this economy to improve and I'm going to be all over one of these!:)
