Covered humbuckers

I thought I saw a covered humbucker in the GOTW section of the Anderson website once and I can't find it now. Does anyone have any info on these p'ups in reference to the tone?

Donk,

We don't make those covered humbuckers any longer since the time it took us to fabricate them was too intensive.

Tone-wise, they had a slightly mellower quality to the pick attack and overall bite. I really liked that affect in a Cobra.
