Steve Miller Cover of Guitar Player

I note that Steve is holding a Bolin 335 Type Guitar White with a White Fretbaord....Curious does anyone know how they treat/paint the fretboard and does it stay that way ?

haven't seen that one but have seen maple necks that are painted all over then cleared.

I have seen Billy Gibbons with some ...but they were way over the Top for me ..... but that White 335 looked nice

August issue of VG, which had the pic of Steve Miller on the cover had some mention by Steve of having Tom make some guitars for him.

The follow up completion of the interview, which is in the September issue, features a photo of a very cool Drop T with native american inspired art work on it.

Very cool work, Tom!! And, congrats on some more well deserved, and well earned positive publicity.

I got this CD 2 days ago, and I have played it at least 12 times, I can't get enough!
Steve is so solid, and I just love his vocals.
I can't believe he sounds just like day one.
He is 66 years old-awesome job!
