Just got my EVO 4G from Sprint!

Just got my evo from Sprint yesterday! I was somewhat angry at first because I was on a waiting list to get one but they never called me back. So I called the store and said where am I at on the list, they replied that there is no more list first come first serve. They did not even notify me! WTF!!! Anyway, I went into the store and was lucky to get one, they sold out again in 40 mins. All I can say is wow this thing is awesome! I have an iPhone and this just blows it away. The screen is huge, the colors and the usability is beautiful. Did I mention this thing has a kick stand? Well it does so you can watch you tube videos and everything. The camera on this thing is even better then my personal one 8 mega pixels!! This thing is just sick, iPhone killer is all I can say. Only downside of this thing is if you run 4g all the time it is going to kill your battery in 4 hours. All in all great phone love the HTC EVO!!

I love mine too....i am actually using it now to type this message. I sold my iPhone 3G for $250 and I never looked back. This phone is sweet. And unlike the new iPhone 4, I can video chat over 3G service.

Android is the only way to live these days. I dont know what I'd do without my Nexus One.

My recent vacation in the Italian alps was pretty refreshing with regards to that... no Internet, no cell phone, no gadgets whatsoever. Nice!!! It feels good to "unplug" once in a while! :D

OMG I spat my coffee through my nose on that one. Seriously, you like the EVO more than the iPhone. I use an iPod touch as a PDA, and carry a cell phone. It just makes sense to combine the phone and PDA into one unit to carry. I am planning on getting an iPhone 4. I like that it syncs to iTunes and can get movies and games and such. I like the app store. Have you tried the Planet Waves chord computer app? I really do not care about the video chat function.

I thought the same thing and almost commented about it when the thread was started. But I love Android and I love to see more people using it. I am SUPER anti-Apple and I kinda want them to go away... sorry Mac/Logic users, Steve Jobs has not been doing it right for the consumer lately and Google is.

Markus - how do you like Facetime? I'm not due for an upgrade until Feb but considering selling my 3GS on craigslist to get one.

Facetime is unreal!!! Only thing I wish was that it would work over 3G instead of only when connected to a WiFi network.

I picked mine up today at the local Apple Store, and just love it. Upgrade from a 3G and it is just amazing. Now I need some FaceTime friends.....
