Ughhh...Here We Go Again (In A Good Way)

As you all know I just got a new custom Anderson Drop Top about a month ago. I have bonded with it so quickly. It feels and plays amazingly well. I couldn't ask for a better dual humbucker guitar. The fit and finish is stellar and I absolutely love the way the pickups split. I have been playing the splits a ton lately. I am getting some very cool traditional strat style sounds. This guitar shreds!

I have loved it so much that I have ordered another Anderson as of last week. I called up Roy and spec'ed out my newest guitar...an Anderson Classic. I am going with the same style neck (Even Taper) as my Drop Top. This one will be in Tobacco Burst (Alder body), all Maple neck, VA Boost switch, pearl white pickguard and HSS configuration (HC3 in bridge and SC1 in middle and neck). It will be nice to have two guitars that can do so much tone wise. I know it may not be for everyone but I had been thinking about this for a while and finally pulled the trigger.

Looking forward to the new addition (too bad I have to wait until September). Thanks to Tom and his family for making killer guitars!

The HC series of pickups sound like it will fit what I am looking for from this guitar. Can anyone give me a review on the covered pickups? Can't wait to put it through its paces.

Congrats on ordering your second Anderson! But don't think it will stop at Anderson #2! ;) :D

I think I might be going in for a visit on Friday and ordering my third.

I have an HC2 in my Atom CT, This isnt going to sound the same being that I have a Mahogany body with a maple top and yours'll be all Alder but that HC2 rocks man. It has a great vintage humbucker tone with an Anderson flavor. I'm telling you your life will change. Until your post I didnt know they had the HC3(+) I had to look it up... sounds awesome.
