no splits

Just wondering,if you have a 5 way,add bridge, Va boost with a 3 way mini
toggle.
2-5 pos on the 5 way with the toggle up,there does not seem to be any
tone difference or split tone.
when i move the the toggle from middle to up position there is no change?
It splits fine when the 5 way is in bridge position and the VA works in all positions.
would a short cause this?
Any ideas on the problem fix would be welcome.:confused:

that's the way it's supposed to be. the stacks are not meant to split, they were designed to sound right and be humcancelling. the 3 way mini changes the basic function of the guitar from 3 single coil sounds to a 2 single plus humbucker guitar.

I acquired my first TAG from Tom (it was one of his old ones) and I didnt know much about it, I had had it more than a year and I took it to Tom to get checked out and I found out that it had a push/pull to split the H2... for a long time I thought it was splitting my Ms also.
