I've been in awe of my hollow drop top since 2003 (s/n 02-20-03P). Recently got a Godin A12 to take care of some 12 string needs and was considering a Godin A6 since the A12 works well enough. Then I realized I'm not getting any younger and should just get what I really want. I'm really Jonesing for a Crowdster +2. So I thought I'd join the group and learn some things about them.

Oh I am ready for my crowdster Plus 2.....I have heard the crowdster acoustic and its just amazing and I have heard so many great things about the electric side, so I really can't wait to get mine. I can tell you that this guitar I know will be the best Hybrid acoustic and electric in one tone you can find out of any guitar. Welcome to the Forum!

Thanks for the replies Tom and Feinberger. I'm looking forward to the research and shopping leading up to finally getting my hands on a Crowdster +2. I'm really leaning towards a special order so I can get exactly the finish I want. I also have a few questions that would fit better in another thread.

Feinberger, my son has a Taylor 714ce that is a really nice sounding acoustic. I run a small recording studio and I have recorded several Taylors with the 3 knob near the neck heel electronics setup. I'm not a big fan of the direct sound, although these guitars sound great mic'd up.

I might be one of the C++ fanatics Tom is speaking of. Bought my C+ 3.5 years ago and had the +2 mod done a couple months ago. It is my main guitar, and if I do say so myself, I get some pretty decent noise from it. PM me anytime!

I gotta make some clips, eh? Maybe next week.

Yes I love the sound of a Ceder Top with Rosewood. Gives a great bass sound. Great acoustic! I think the only thing better would be a McPherson with Red Wood and Rosewood. The Crowdster on the other hand will give me a better acoustic sound with a live band. The Crowdster is a lot brighter and will cut through the mix a lot better. I had a Taylor T5 before, but I placed the order for the Crowdster Plus 2 and sold the T5.
