I am curious and would like to see the different Atoms that people have. With the different finishes and pickups, I am just interested in seeing what different people have. So post away! Lets see those Atom's because I am an Electron that is getting pulled towards the positive Atom that I hear about.

How do you like using that Drop-D tuner? Can it be added aftermarket without otherwise altering the guitar?

do not know about the after marker add on. I would guess it could. I am not sure if I like it or not. I do not trust the tuning stability yet. I am just starting to play with it.
it can be added aftermarket, it uses the same screw hole so it's simple to install.
as for use, i use them all the time and there is a procedure to setting them up each time you use it.
tune the low E.
release the lever a few times.
tune the E down to the note(it will probably be a little sharp. you should now be able to go back and forth and have the e be correct each time.
then adjust the fine tuner so the D is correct. i tune the D 4 cents flat(i have it set for string & on the turbo tuner).

I have it too on my guitar (pictured above) and on my Cobra and I couldnt survive without it. Its a must have in my opinion.

Very Beautiful....What do you have a M1 in the neck and Middle and H2 in the Bridge? Hows the bigsby, stay in tune? I have heard great things about the anderson bigsby staying in tune by Roy at Anderson.

the Bigsby on the Atom work 10.875 times better than the Bigsby on the Gibson Country Gentleman I have.
The neck tone from the M1 is outstanding. I did not have a lot of interest in the Atom. Roy convinced me to try it. I must say I an very happy he did and I am surprised how much I like the guitar. the HMM and Kickback make for a very versatile guitar. It may be as versatile of a guitar as the HDTC HSH machines that I have. Really I feel currently the Atom is all as versatile and, the tones you do get I seem to enjoy more.
My real problem currently is that I told dearest friend how good I felt it was so he borrowed the Atom. I have not seen it now for 10 days. Seem his be-love Fender JB Strat has a rival.
