Congratulations on your birthday and birthday present! It looks beautiful. When I was living in New York City in the 70's, I remember John Suhr was working in Rudys Music on 48th street. He was the repair guy and was building custom guitars from Schecter and various other parts.

That's burl maple, isn't it? Don't see that too often. Melancon uses it fairly regularly. How does it sound?

it looks like some kind of baroque french stucco design and yet it real wood

sound good too
