Born and raised in South Florida and having had many a wonderful Key Lime Pie I can truly say that the Guitar Gods were looking over me this time.

Just the other day I got word that there was a Drop Top in key Lime which had recently come out of the factory I was determined to find it and called TAG, which put in touch with it and today I paid for it. The story is more complicated but I'll spare you the details :D

I should have it by next week and I am stoked about it, in my eyes it is one heck of a looking DT, and that is pretty hard to say. It will be a perfect compliment to my CT Atom, I feel complete. Once again Kudo's to Tom and his team for their contributions and hard work. Because of their exemplary customer service and constant quality, I vow to never buy another brand.

Born and raised in NY, but during my formative years (back in the 60's) my family drove down to the Keys every December where we got Key Lime Pie at the source! One of my favorites was this little Cuban restaurant in Islamorada called Manny & Isa's, where they grew their own key limes and made it fresh in a meringue style with graham cracker crust. Absolute heaven....(and their paella was unbelievable, too!).

Just a couple of months ago I returned to the Keys, and couldn't find good key lime pie anywhere- everyone served this pre-fab cheesecake version which I could have gotten at my local Phoenix supermarket. Bah!

Oh, you bought a guitar? :D

There is a small Amish area outside of Homestead where you can get great Key Lime pie. Or there used to be. And there used to be a place just off i95 and Griffen Road buy the airport in FTL that had good pie too.

But I have not been back to FL in about five years...

Wow! Fantastic! Why wasn't this a guitar of the week? Are the pickup covers brushed? They don't look polished (cool!).

It's here, safe and sound. WOW........... The pictures don't do it justice, spectacular satin finish and it doesn't really look as green as it appears. You can see alot of the natural wood.

grapeshot, yes sir the covers are brushed.. Very nice touch.
