Placed an order for a new neck for my Hollow Drop Top Classic. Going with a maple/maple 1 11/16", +0.050 over even taper with slightly softened shoulders, heavy frets, truss rod adjust at the nut, new Gotoh locking tuners. I'd talked with Roy about this several times over the years, finally decided to bight the bullet and have it done. T minues 6 - 8 weeks and counting... Can't wait!!!
Got almost the same replacement neck for my Hollow T Classic (rosewood/maple). Just needed a bit more beef than a regular even taper. Bottom line, if you love everything about your Anderson but the neck, it's a sound investment (IMHO).
can a new neck be replaced on the old 4 bolt system ?
no problem, it will have headstock adjust though.

Can I ask how much a replacement neck costs? I often see TA guitars I like with too skinny neck profiles and but now I could buy one and change the neck....fantastic!
it's 500 which gets it painted and installed like new. you do not get the old one back.

Are 2-bolt necks adjusted at the base of the neck? I didn't know that.
everything adjusts at the headstock since 2005.
