schecter diamond tom?

Was the schecter diamond series (80's) tele a guitar from Tom's period w/ schecter? It has a quilt top and a very ta type headstock. Just curious as a friend is considering selling it.

Not even close. It's a current production Korean guitar. Diamond Series wasn't introduced until late '90s.
