SSH Alder, Maple Neck

SC1/SC1/HC1+

Looking for a vintage sounding classic w/o the noise.

How close will I get with these specs?

Would there have been a better option?

Thanks

the obvious question would be " no single coil size in the bridge position?" but i'd have a humbucker every time.

Yes, I forgot to clarify that. I want a vintage sounding classic in pup pos 1 & 2, but want a classic sounding bucker in the bridge. Never been a fan of SC in the bridge.

Totally agree. I have one SSS (actually hum-cancelling) guitar and almost never use that bridge pickup by itself for that same reason. Instead, I play my Hollow Cobra. :D

I love Tele style bridge SC pickups but not a Strats. I played a Drop Top today with the SC1, SC1, and HC2 pickups and it was a smokin' guitar. I think you'll be very happy!
