does it have a indentation/ding long ways on back of neck about 1/2 inch long ??

There are a couple indentations on the back of the neck but nothing close to a 1/2" long. Do you suspect you might be a previous owner?

yes andI know I sold i to someone in Mid west on Ebay ..another stupid move on my part .....I jusy had a ahrd time with rosewood fretboard on a Start Type body ...but that guitar could play ..I am trying to find a photo of it

Interesting. This is my first real strat style guitar with a rosewood board. So far I like it but it took some getting used to. I've been die hard maple for the last several years.
