Anyone here ever had one done?
Been trying to get used to the standard even taper on my Hollow T, but always come to the realization that I really love the 60's vibe on the other T I have. So, do I just look for a different TAG that has the neck-----or do I send it in for a replacement? Yes---I really love the guitar (pickup configuration, color, etc.)
Is the $500.00 justified, or do I move on?

Sorry gang. IMPULSE POST! IMPULSE POST!
Played my T for about 2 hrs tonight. I can adjust to this neck. Sometimes I go alittle overboard in my quest for perfection.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this guitar! I'm a lucky man to own it.
Thanks Tom (and the rest of the TAG gang)

I have Andy's with five different necks. To me anyway, it is kind of like a different adventure on all of them!

If you love everything else about the guitar.....way worth it...............a re-fret alone nowadays is $350-400...you'd get a new neck exactly the way you want, any tuners(I think), a new nut, any frets you want, I've been thinking of doing this to one of my HDTCs...the .030 os neck on it has actually shrunk due to age and the dryness of the area I live(VA - go figure) and the frets are starting to stick out a bit.....but I love the feel of it still....well worth it....
