This is an Egnater C.O.D. (California Overdrive) preamp module for an Egnater Mod 50 or E4 chassis. It is Egnater's "Dumblesque" module. I've never played through a Dumble, but Egnater's web site describes it as their module that "lives comfortably between the Dumble Overdrive Special and the Mark IIc, except with it’s own little twist." I decided I have one too many of these modules for my limited skills. Since picking up the SL module recently, I find that this is the module I'm using the least. This one is in perfect condition and works flawlessly.
Good representative clips (with the player on the first one using an Anderson Drop Top T and a Mod 50) are here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ig7uyUVaMUU) and here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmKmddhBnhg).
