... I am pumped.

3rd row, dead middle, in a small, intimate venue w/ a great sound system. I missed out when Emmylou Harris played there recently. That's also the venue I went to see John Prine play.

I'm gonna have a great vantage point to see one of my favorite guitar player's fingers during a complete show. Can't wait!

Oh, and Vince, I know you're getting a Thorn... feel free to play mine for that show ;) We can work it out :D

I realize that many people don't like country music, but to not see a master musician and guitar player like Vince Gill because of a silly genre/label issue is a huge waste. Don't do that to yourself! :)

Vince is a great player with a great voice. In addition he has written some very great TRUE country music. Would love to go see him live someday.

Look for the Crossroads Festival DVD where Vince plays "Oklahoma Getaway"..............

IMO he stole the show right there.

You mean Oklahoma Borderline?

You guys also need to get the Players DVD w/ Brent Mason and Vince trading some very cool licks ;)

When people say EMG pickups sound bad or can't be used for anything except metal Vince Gill is the first guy I bring up.

To me he is the exception to the rule when it comes to EMG :)

I've also seen Vince Gill perform in a small venue. I believe we had 4th row seats center stage. We got there found our seats and and waited for the show to start. When they came out to play to my pleasure Vince had Dan Tyminski playing with the band that night so it was a very cool night for me to see them both.
What a show it was......fantastic!
