Hey guys

the title says it all. I went to the airport early this morning trying to catch an earlier flight home, my current flight is at 5:30 pst, and its currently only 11:20. I have 3 hours until I can check my bag for the flight and 6 hours until my flight and I am sitting on a wooden chair breaking my back for 6 FREAKIN HOURS.

I need something to do, anyone got any suggestions? I figure most of what I can do is to entertain myself and right now that means I really only have my laptop and this stupid chair killing my back.

HELP ME PLEASE.

ps i missed catching an earlier flight by 5 min (not that it took off 5 min ago but it was too late to check in.) she wouldnt let me through... over 5 min. grrr

Tom, forgive me if you have allready answered this somewhere. Would you make a Esquire Type guitar.? Use a pickup that you could still get the Twang but with switching to get a more mellow sound?

tom

yes, we have and will make those.

Those McPhersons are deadly- I played a beautiful figured redwood top/brazilian that they had and the tone was incredible! Price was just
way out there - $12K list (and I believe the dealer min discount structure is
10%)

the TV2 would be the vintage style choice. if you love vintage but also like things a little fatter for use with gainier amps, the TV3 is awesome. if humcancelling is a must, TF3 is the one.

There's a guy at one of the shops in the Seattle area that has a Drop Top S (I think) with a wild purple top and a single humbucker. Pretty cool in a minimalist way... but much different than an Esquire. :)

The one that I fell in love with was a Zircote back and sides and Newaged redwood top.. A-FREAKIN-MAZING. Larry and I are super close now (mostly because I spent a lot of time in their sound room jammin on one)

I think Lumco's Esquire should have a TM bridge pickup with a 3-way switch: full pickup/kickback mode/off. Oh, and the control plate has to be reversed.

I've got one with a TD3+ . Sweet guitar-----although at times I wish I had something in the neck. Really like that TD3+ pickup though.

Reddy, explain what you mean here...full pickup?\kickback mode?\off?

My M pickups in my Atom have a 'kickback' mode that makes them more single-coily. Seems like that and being able to switch the pickup off might be a good use of a 3-way switch.

We have great pizza here plus Portland has created quite a reputation for great restaurants. Not necessarily spendy places, just small places with awesome food. Let me know if you need recommendations.
