There's a Tone Merchants show on Friday night featuring Steve Stevens and Pete Thorn... might be interesting...

So 3 meals a day at the Indian Restaurant? Is Pepto provided?

Corey,

I'll definitely be stopping by. Let Brian and Bob know I'm coming too, so they can hide as well...

He is kinda like the company's favorite son. I would assume that we could expect a couple of shows with Doyle. Probably a Friday and a Saturday late afternoon.

Man I love curry. There are great curry places here on every corner! Some of it makes me break out in a sweat before I even sit at the table!

Lincoln is paying with an AXE-FX Ultra and a Liquid Foot controller lately. After lurking on their forums for ever a year I finally got an Ultra and a LFP. Been tweaking tones and presets for 3 days for use thru a FRFR setup and will use it for worship service in the morning. The thing is pretty awesome tone wise and extremely versatile. No need for the big amp on stage and several dozen pedals. Excellent setup with my Atom Special.

Sorry for the derail.

Go see Lincoln.

Well, I will put it to you like this, it's a keeper!

I am not at the gear level of most guys on this forum. I play mostly in church.

It's always a plus to not have so much gear to lug around and it seems as though every worship leader is leaning away from having amps on stage. I remember a post where the supreme commander said he thought one of his pedal boards weighed 50+pounds. As most of you know, playing worship calls for a huge diversity in songs. I have played everything in worship from Green Day to Third Day to Sheryl Crow and Garth Brooks to U2.

Having the ability to cover these tunes with excellent effects and amps and cabs with this type of light set up is somewhat liberating. I have everything including the Liquid Foot Pro, Mission Engineering SP1-LF Volume/Wah pedal and a Mackie 402-VLZ3 mixer fit into a 6U rolling rack case. I put the 8ma in a small duffle bag on top of the 6U case and roll it away, Atom slung over my shoulder. The Liquid Foot Pro features are first class. The FBT Verve 8ma is a perfect monitor size for me and the tone quality is exceptional for this application. The LFP even has a built in tuner that I programmed to take advantage of the BF offsets.

I went to a few music stores here in Singapore this weekend, looking for cables. I thought it was quite funny not to even look at pedals or amps with GAS. Everything I need is in this box.

Setup is a quick and easy. One 7 pin midi to the Liquid Foot Pro provides power and allows it to send signals to the AXE-FX to switch presets and effects. No more bending down to set the tremolo for the All We Need by Charlie Hall. No more bending down trying to remember what was the exact position for delay milliseconds on Mighty to Save.

The learning curve is pretty steep on the programming end if you have no experience with midi. I had none.

Aside from the simplicity and ease of setup the convincing part is in the tone.

All of this paired up with my Atom Special was tone heaven. Several people came up looking to see where was my amp! Yes, many compliments were given out on the tone.

This may be considered as heresy but it would be an excellent alternative option for many here.
