Got me a C+ a couple weeks back... (it's a beaut, love the acoustic capability!)...anyways, I was looking at the instructions (a first :)!) and noted the following caution..."
[I]We also recommend strings be changed one at a time to keep constant pressure on the saddle and piezo pickup. Loosening all the strings may result in a misalignment of the piezo element./I]."
Do all you crowdster guys follow these instructions? How do you clean/condition the fretboard without taking all the strings off?
the warning is really just to make people aware that when the strings are all off they need to pay attention to the saddle and pickup. i have had people lose the saddle or put it in backwards, both are bad. also, if the saddle comes out it is important that the pickup be pushed as far as it will go to the bass side so you get even string balance. you can use the saddle to push the pickup, inserting the bass end first. it is also very important that no debris get in the slot as it can greatly effect string balance.

I do indeed take all my strings off then put all the new ones on on my C+.
No problems! I suggest, if you have a camera that can take the pic, taking a close-up of the bridge so you know what direction it goes if it falls out and you get confused.

Thanks for your responses Tom and Pietro. I've taken a couple pictures to document the correct position for others. If one ensures the little divits(?) on the saddle are facing frontward, should be good to go.

As an aside, this C+ is the 2nd TAG I now have. The fit and finish on both are superb...the edges of the frets/fretboard are sooo smooth!...kudos to you and the folks that work in your shop Tom.
I'd like to thank Mr. Roman for making me aware of your products's via his website...although he acknowledged the quality of your guitars, he seemed to imply they are somehow 'inferior' because they're not totally handmade. I had to check it out...:)

...chisel, mallet, and handsaw are all you're allowed...now that's handmade!:D
there you go. i guess that's gonna limit the amount of hand builders out there.

Let's see, hand made. A clay pinch-pot, snow balls, dirt clods. What am I missing?
Has Roman ever played an Anderson??
What a PUTZ!!!! LOL
Can I say that here???
If not, I do whole heartedly appologize.
