hello, we made some test with our friends and they have noticed that frost two strings want ring out properly, they semm to sound to short, what might be a problem here? string action is set too low? truss rod needs to be adjusted?
is it a floyd?
is it different when played open or fretted?

It's fishman tremolo, I checked and it semms when i play on frets it rings better, it dies when i play them open ;/
if it's something that just appeared, it's probably junk in the nut. especially if you use any of the graphite products, it can build up and make notes ring poorly. if you take a razor blade or some othe sharp object you can clean out the slots.

so, old graphite makes the string stuck in the nut ;/ is there anything else better that graphite to make string slide in the nut?
the problem with graphite is that it builds up and makes a squishy mess for the string to get stuck in.
nut sauce is great stuff, it's my favorite. other liquids work ok too like tri flow, and other teflon products, but the nut sauce stay put longer and doesn't mess up the wound strings like liquids can.

I'm going to quote Tom here in an earlier post that I got started. I tried Nut Sauce and discovered how a no locking trem stays perfectly in tune. I can do dive bombs and NEVER go out of tune. To quote the Supreme Commander of the Anderson Empire, "Nut Sauce is the sauce."
