Anyone hear of the Trem King trem bridge. Impressions? It is supposed to have a stable center point to allow for oblique bends and so forth. Wonder what the supreme commander thinks about this idea. Not that I don't love my vintage trem. I surely do. But I don't have a TAG with a fixed bridge.

That is pretty interesting. Hopefully someone with 1st hand knowledge will chime in.

have not played it but i do remember seeing it. from looking at how it works, it must have a "home position" feel to it. the demo guy even mentions the stiff feel on the stoped position. it would have to to be able to do the drop d. so i doubt if it would be ideal for someone doing gentle stuff.

I just added the drop-d to my short-t. It's good stuff and I find myself switching back and forth multiple times in a single song.

that's the fun part! forgetting you're in drop d is the not fun part. i've played more baooom d to E's than i care to remember.

TOTALLY. I hit what I though was a big fat G chord at my last gig and it turned out it was actually a G/F. haha "Can I interest anyone in a farty G7 chord? Anyone? "

That would probably be fine if you had been playing a Pat Metheny tune.:D

See... that's why I just keep my guitars in Drop D all the time... :D Plus, Floyds and Drop D tuners obviously won't work well together...

We don't play any cover tunes but only our original tunes - which are all written in Drop D, so that makes it pretty easy and convenient... ;) :D :D
