Greeting from SW BC Canada.

I've been lurking awhile trying to learn a little about Anderson guitars. I have a varied stable of sticks with strings... Fender, Gibson, Taylor, McNaught, even a LaMancha classical. Wanted to try a BFTS guitar, that's how I got onto Anderson. Was looking at a nice Cajun red classic at Jacks, but found a used hollow T to start...will save the classic for #2...:) !

Don't have the T yet (onroute) but it was guitar of the week May 23/2004...Desert sunset, alder/ash, std t/a neck, M1/VA1/TV3...etc (hopefully the photos from Gotw will load)

I do have a question...couldn't find any info on a VA1 pickup on this or the Anderson site...what can I expect relative to the current VAs?

Welcome to the forums! That's a beautiful guitar - good job including a picture. That was the first test. :)

the va1 was our first vintage style strat pickup. it's a little more aggressive on the top end than our current VA5 and 7's

Welcome HOTR. Great guitar..........but, it's lonely. I believe the only cure is another Andy as a stable mate.

Agree...looking for 'the' DT classic for it's friend;) ...although I wouldn't mind trying a Crowdster as well.

Welcome.

We have twins, except I have the mini toggle to split the M and a RW board on 01-27-09A. You are going to be a happy player!

From the minute I picked the T out of the case, I knew it was special. Waited for my turbo tuner to arrive before I played...and love the BFT. The workmanship and finish is impeccable. I wondered why folks owned multiple Andersons...now I understand. :)
