OK, a simple question that I should know the answer to but just wanted to make absolutely sure here. I see 2 types of "Tiger's Eye Burst" as the tops of these guitars.

The first looks like this, and has a darker, "2-tone" burst look:

Darker Burst 1 (http://www.andersonguitars.com/images/guitarImages/04,14,2000_01-28-15_tn.gif)

-and-

Darker Burst 2 (http://www.andersonguitars.com/images/guitarImages/10,04,2002_06-44-32.jpg)

...and the second looks like this, and has a lighter, more graduated, "3-tone" burst, almost tobacco burst-like:

Lighter Burst 1 (http://www.andersonguitars.com/images/guitarImages/06,23,2007_02-03-29.jpg)

-and-

Lighter Burst 2 (http://www.andersonguitars.com/images/guitarImages/01,29,2000_12-57-25.jpg)

I MUCH prefer the darker "2-tone" look with the lighter brown on the edges, so would that be called a "light burst"? Or otherwise, how would I specify that in an order?

By the way, I know that lighting, the maple underneath, and other photographic properties may be fooling my eyes, but I just want to make sure I've got my ducks in a row.

Thanks...

none of those pictures look very good at that size and resolution. i think it's safe to say that the burst looks like a 2 color burst.
i gotta say that looking at guitars on computer screens totally sucks. i watch roy color balance the photos on his screen with the real guitar right there and he does an amazing job. his screen is all color balanced and always looks right. anywhere else i look, they don't look near as good.

Cool Tom, thanks. Seems like I have seen references to a "light Tiger's Eye Burst" elsewhere in the sea of posts on this message board, I just assumed it was referring to the less drastic of the two. Thanks for the information.

that's a totally different color, much lighter in the middle.
