Hello all,

Well, I've come to a decision to offer my Dr. Z Route 66 for sale. My Route 66 is a 2003 Anniversary model in PERFECT working condition. It's living in an ULTRA-RARE red head cabinet with black Vox Diamond grill cloth. The only other Dr. Z amps I've ever seen with the Vox cloth are owned by Mr. Michael Burks. I've NEVER seen another Z with the Vox cloth offered for sale before. As I understand it, Dr. Z Amps wanted to use the diamond cloth, but were forced by Vox not to, so this is an incredibly rare item. As you can see in the photos, the amp is in fantastic condition. I hesitate to call any used item mint, but this truly is in incredible shape.

If you're not familiar with the Route 66, here's a link to the amp on the Dr. Z website:

This truly is a spectacular amplifier, and sounds fabulous with every guitar I've tried with it. It can cover a lot of ground tonally. I've played everything from early Bluesbreakers tunes, to Cream and Hendrix, and even jazz with my D'Angelico New Yorker. With the EF-86 front end, it accepts pedals better than any other amp I've ever tried. Those "big bottle" KT66 power tubes have probably the creamiest distortion I've ever heard. It's 32 watts of pure tonal heaven.

A new Route 66 sells for $1649, plus tax and shipping. I'm going to offer this exquisite piece of Dr. Z history for only $1300, a savings of over 20%! Shipping will be extra, as well as Paypal, if you want to go that "route". Local pickup in the Cincinnati area is welcome.

I've bought and sold A LOT of guitars and amps, so rest assured that this sweet, little tone monster will arrive safely. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Thanks,
Brad
