Tell me all about the HN3.

I have an alder strat, and I want a pup that is tight, with tight bass, and a lot of treble/high mid crunch. I also like bright side pickups. Will this be my best bet? Thanks.

it has a tight focused bass and a very present mid and treble. i would not say it has an overly bright top end, plenty treble for sure but not any ice pick super high end.

That sounds like it will work. The Dimarzio Super distortion wasn't bright enough, and the EVO was too bright. I've been looking at everything for a happy medium. Thanks again.

Guess before I order these, I should ask how bright they are? Or DC resistance. I don't want anything too dark.

because the magnet structure is so different, the dc would be meaningless compared to other styles of pickups. since i have not heard the other pu's you mentioned i can't compare. it's not a dark pickup though.
