ToneLounge, I tried to pm you but could not so sorry to the rest of you for going off topic a little. Could you please pm me? I am considering a change in bridge pup on my TAG T and I'd like to ask about your T with the TM in the bridge.

Sorry folks, back to your regularly scheduled thread.

Playing at a Fender Forum jam last spring. These are some of the coolest people to play with and a fun day. I have attended several in NJ, MD, PA, Fla. Mini gear fests with plenty of play time.

Ha! :) Same here. I sold most of my other guitars over the last 2 years - 2 Musicman JPs, a Musicman Luke, a Gibson LP and an Ibanez RG - in order to buy more Andersons. I'm slowly running out of things to sell... only 3 non-Anderson guitars left.

Here's me with my old band and dearly departed Grand Am (lacewood) and one with the same guitar and band in the recording studio (for an album we never finished).

I have 4 Andys currently, but no pics in action. I can't wait until the CD is done because then I'll get out and play those monsters live!

This shot fascinates me. Multiple Macbook (Pro?) setups on stage. I can't hear anything but the photo tells me it sounds bitchin. What's the signal chain and the thinking behind this?

Keyboards taped to ANDERSON guitars?!? Somehow I'm not surprised. Those guys really are crazy... and phenomenal live.

I'll try to catch them next trip. I'd be very curious to see how far musical performance could be expanded via more digital toys.

they weren't tapped to andersons, but i wouldn't mind if they were. they had to be on their toes for sure. they all had many duties to cover. i must admit that i still love hearing just the crowdster and davids voice.

i'm not dave and don't know for sure, but that might be part of the axe-fx ultra rig. the controller looks like a liquid foot pro.

Hey thanks, that was my HDT with rosewood neck.

current rig is:

furman pl8+
Peterson stroborack
Axe-FX ultra
X2 wireless
dbx 266xl (probably going away).
Rocktron Patchmate
Pedal drawer (bs2 buffer, evh phase90, bbpreamp, dod yjm, oc2, supa charger power thingy)
Power amp is tbd at the moment, i had a crown 402 that i just sold, but it was way to heavy, so i'm thinking about one of those ultralight carvin power amps.

that goes into two old boogie half back 4x12's.
my foot controller is an axess electronics fx1 and expander, with 2 eb jr volume pedals for expression.

I also run in ears (carvin em900 with custom fidelity triple driver buds).

here are a few pix:

Do not get many live shots during Worship time at our church. I have been going through acoustic DIs on the board. Using the Ultrasound this week. Running stereo using the Tech 21 Liverpool for drive. Planning to throw a OCD on the board to kick it up a notch.

BlingMaster Barney and His Alabaster Telecaster

We're all friends here, right? So there's no need to worry about embarassing myself with this photo. Friends asked me to play with them in a Halloween parade that has 100,000-125,000 in attendance, 100+ floats, a dozen marching bands and a couple of live bands. I borrowed a friend's flatbed and we used two generators for electric power for the amps, keys, PA and decoration lights. We even had a smoke generator going on the truck.
The whole day was a blast. From setup and a mini concert to test things out at my friend's house we used as base camp. Setting up again at the parade staging area and another mini concert in a mall parking lot. The actual time on the parade route was about an hour. the band has been friends of mine and I sit in with them a few times a year. We did Dancin' in the Street, Werewolves, Jenny Jenny, The breakup Song, Keep Your Hands To Yourself, Monster Mash, Pink Cadillac, Hurts So Good, Miss You and a batch of other easy cover tunes that get the crowd going. The crowd sang and dance as we drove along the route. Nobody fell off the truck either!
We got 10 songs in and drove 5 miles back to base in a light drizzle.
My other HTC is too my left, but I didn't use it during the parade. I thought the blonde HTC went with my pimp daddy costume better. If you get a chance to do something like this, do it. we are already planning on doing the St Paddy's Day Parade in Belmar, NJ. Another 100,000 partying people to play too.

We didn't play Barney The Dinosaur's theme song either!
