Vigorous Doll, (or Doll) as she likes to be called, is a mature Sorrel Mare. She joined our family today!

Thanks Tom!

We got her for the kids to learn to ride. She is a mature horse. Well mannered.

She is a strong horse, but she stands 14.2 hands. Perfect for the kids. Totally well trained. Comes when called, follows directions, even ground ties. She is so gentle with the kids too. They all rode today and are just really happy.

My wife, who grew up on a ranch in SW Oregon, says that's a beautiful horse! Me, who grew up near NYC, wonders why you chose that particular angle for your photo? :D

LOL!!

It is particularly difficult to get a horse that is not on a lead and wants to graze to pose for a photo!

BTW I grew up in Hoboken. What in the Wild Wild West I'm doing owning a horse is slightly beyond comprehension.

Oh and you really don't want to play with a horse's "wiggle stick". Not unless you want a hoof print in your forehead!:D
