Atom - play on words

OK I know that I'm painfully slow in just realizing this and that it's probably been discussed here before but I just got my Anderson Atom and I realized that the name "Atom" is a play on words. Not only is it "A Tom" but if you look at the headstock the Stylized A logo and "Tom" from Tom Anderson guitarworks are conjoined.

Only took me about 5 years to figure that out.

if you guys check out threads from late 2004, you'll see all the dicussions on the atom and everyone trying to guess on the shape and name. i think the name leaked somwhere, not sure. check it out fun read.

Confusing Tom with "Atom"??? My best guess is that it was a mental side effect from all that hair spray they were using, Tom.........professionally speaking, of course.
