Has there ever been an Anderson with a B-Bender?
If not is there any chance I could order one?
I love B-Benders but the weight of mine is killing me and after playing my Andersons I can't help but feel I'm playing an inferior guitar when it doesn't say Anderson on the headstock.
Im dying for an Andy with a B-Bender. Am I wishing for the impossible?
we have done a few that have been sent for installation after they were done. ryan here has one that went to mcvay for bender install. we did make the hollowing slightly different for his requirements. we are currently talking to someone about doing one. waiting the hear from mcvay about the new neck joint to make sure he can deal with it.
just spoke to charlie mcvay and he said it doesn't look like his bender will work with our neck joint. he needs the plate and hole spacing it provides to make it work.

Wonder if he could or would modify an older Anderson with the old style neck joint?
Gonna write him on his website. Thanks!

Kevin,
Go over to the Dr Z forum and look up Madison. Tell him Danno, his old friend from Richmond told you to write. I believe he had a Butterscotch T Classic with a B Bender. I believe it was an aftermarket job too. He may be able to give you some insight.
mcvay can do our older stuff. he prefers if the body is solid down the middle, but you can contact him.

I went down this same road a few times with all the b-bender manuf guys,, same thing,,,neck joint, sloping, hollow chambers etc cause structure problems. the only thing is the hip shot aftermarket,, didn't care for it as it seems bulky and doesn't add to the look of the guitar. so my b-bender fantasy on a TA ended and had to install on my next fav guitar.. G&L Asat Classic...not near the the guitar but fixed my crave for the bender..
if you found a t classic made prior to 2006, mc vay could do it. he can handle the contoured heel just not completely hollow or wedgie joint.

Tom, did not no that,, the info I had from Mcvay was he struggled with the joint even prior 2006..most of mine are that..
maybe ryan will chime in, we did alter the hollowing on his for mcvay, but i thought the heel was normal.
