I like wearing swag from my favorite companies - and can't find TAG shirts anywhere. I know the focus should be on making the best guitars on the planet, and that's great... but it's a sad world when I can find 50 bazillion different Gibson or Fender shirts, and can't find a TAG one.

Tom, have you guys thought about just doing your Ts through cafe express or something like that? You'd make less money on them obviously, but then you wouldn't need to even worry about fulfilling the orders. Not sure how good the Cafe express quality is though... but I'd order one!

TAG sells T Shirts. Call them. They are good quality too.

They also give you the option of getting a free T-Shirt or Guitar Strap with every new guitar purchase.

I saw that in the threads that they do T-shirts, but also that they were behind/out of stock and the priority right now was on the guitars, which I understand. Also there is no working link to Ts on the Anderson website that I could find... I just figured if they were that behind on them, maybe a good idea would be to let someone like Cafe handle the hassle, that's all.

t shirts are not a profit center for us. we don't make anything on them. they are just an enticement for getting guitar registered, and they don't work very well even for that. we probably got through a couple hundred at most per year so i'm not sure any of the order filling houses would be interested in such a small account. we have shirts in house now so if you want something you can bug rachel.

Cool. My 02 Cobra ALSO has the reg card.

I'm gettin' a t-shirt! PRONTO!

I promise to wear it in front of other musicians. I used to have a really cool one in black with green letters that we got when I worked at Veneman's, but I wore it out.

one warning, just because there's tags doesn't mean it hasn't been registered. some like to send copies so they can "keep the tagger".
you can email me to check to see if it's been registered.

My daughter was wearing a TAG T I got for her day. Made me feel good to see her in it.

When I registered my TAG, I "sent the tagger" and kept the copy, but now realize that most people do what you indicated and I am bummed because I sent in the "Birth Certificate." Is it possible to get a new "tagger" issued for my Cobra? I absolutely promise I will not try to register it again....!

Wasn't trying to tell Tom how to sell shirts, I just read past posts where it seemed like shirts were on the back burner and I wanted some NOW! :)

Sent an email out to Rachel for pricing and how you guys would like to get paid for the shirts, hopefully we can buy them too, right? Heck, while I'm at it, how much are the Anderson straps? I bought all 3 of my Andersons used, so I hope I can at least buy this stuff since I know I don't qualify for the new purchaser perks.

The straps are right at $7, if I remember correct. They are a bargain, besides being the "cat's meow" among straps. So, stock up on a more than a few. :)

While your at it, pick up some fret protectors at $6. The come in two sizes (lengths).

Rachel can give you all the details regarding any of this good stuff and she'll take good care of you. I know because I bought 3 straps and 3 fret protectors sometime within the last six months.

Very cool. Taking the Andersons to a gig on friday, along with an Axe FX. Leaving the tube amps at home. Should have plenty of folk coming up to me at breaks "why don't you play a fender or a gibson" or "where is your tube amp?" Probably get asked about the shirts when I wear them, which is fine - I love sharing info on great gear.

Y'see, Anderson guitars are about as rare as a UFO sighting in Tulsa. Should be fun! I gigged my Bogner XTC awhile back, had a guy come up and sincerely tell me that while that amp I used sounded real good, Peaveys were reliable and and of undeniable quality. They cost a bit more but were worth it!

I live in the same place, only in PA. I am 200 miles to the closest Andy
or Dr ZA or Bogner, etc dealer.

My son is thinking of moving to Tulsa. He lives in the NYC area. We used to live in San Antonio, and he misses that. I told him he was a bit nuts. If he wanted Texas he should move to Texas!

Yeah, Tulsa isn't Texas. If he wants any info about Tulsa from someone who has lived here 39 *gulp* years, let me know. It's not a bad place to live, just the pace is super slow if he's used to NYC. I like it, but I'm a laid-back okie. :)
