We went crazy for a week for 3/4 of an inch?
AAGGHHH...
Well, come to think of it, that actually is a pretty cool idea!
Cobra goodness in Classic woods! Very nice.

I guess I don't see anything weird. It looks like a T-classic with ferraglide saddles. My only guess is that it could be a standard T but with a short scale( which the pictures wouldn't show- but the angle of the photography might imply that something is fishy about the length of the neck (scale).
I dunno. It just looks like an Anderson to me.;)
My quote from last week. hee hee
Seems like it'd be a fun guitar to try out...
I really like the idea of a "Short T"...............
Lovely guitar. Congrats on another great and unique guitar Tom and company.
when we are used to measuring in thousandths of an inch, 3/4" is a mile! for any who have struggled making a tele sound big enough, it's a really cool guitar.

Wow - the thought of one of these is making me quiver all the way across the Pacific in Tokyo!

Looks great Tom...when you making a esquire lookin axe?...or double white binding so us folks can get the look without the jillion dollars spent..
we've done some single pu versions before. you'll have to look to reproducers for double binding. i'm not going back to the old style neck joint.
brian, do i sense some long scale sarcasm there?

Tom -
Just the opposite... you know that's my body shape... and the thought of a maple neck, short scale, M1 neck and ? in the bridge (T-style perhaps?) is very appealing...

Interesting take on it. I'd be curious to hear a Hollow Short T set up like a Keef guitar with an HC1 (or something similar) in the neck with a standard tele bridge pup or maybe even a TM1.
Or what if we did covered chrome buckers in both the neck and the bridge and twisted Tom's arm into cutting something like a Telecaster Deluxe pickguard? :)

funny you should mention the telecaster deluxe pickguard.
A buddy of mine that i jam with just mentioned to the old man that the deluxe pick guard would be saweeeeet.
Guess who shot the idea down....

It's mine! It's MINE! IT'S MINE IT'S MINE IT'S MINE!!!!!!!!
MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE!!!!!!
OK... phew... sorry. Got a little overstimulated there for a second.
I just received this for a trial and so far I'm pretty impressed. I started another thread on it so I'll give the full report there after I've had a chance to really get some play time in at volume.
So far I discovered that the short scale with the booster engaged on the neck pickup makes for some interesting smooth jazz tones!

Is there a liklihood? possibility? small chance?
Imagine a Short S Classic in ice blue w/ all maple neck and floyd. . . guess I'm filling out the spec sheet already :o
it's not on the radar right now. not everything translates across the board so we'd have to do lots of testing before opening our big mouths about offering them. the classic would involve a bit more tooling and programming to test the waters, so for now we'll just have to wait and see. i promise that i won't surprise you with it in a few months.

Thanks Tom. I realize there's a lot involved in the engineering. But those of us who prefer the S shape can still dream;)
Then again, you offer the T shape with S-style contours - that might get the job done for me.
Does GAS and rationalizations about why you NEED new gear ever stop?:D
it never stops, mostly because we chase a moving target. i'm not after the same thing i was after 4 years ago. it goes on and on, but it's fun.
