For Sale:
2009 Robin Fleetwood. Much has been posted about this beauty on the Robinlovers.com forum. It’s been called everything from “The Framptonwood” to “The Red Stick” to “The Beast”! I hate to sell it as I’ve waited a long time to get this special order guitar, but we are continuing to have a bad family financial crisis at home and am in need of cash. Can't sell my Andersons. (So, sorry, no trades on this one)
Many of you have never owned or played a Robin, they are top-notch in every way. As good a quality instrument as an Anderson or other top boutique luthiers. (I've owned Andersons, Hubers and McInturff) Impeccable craftsmanship and detail. The best woods. Perfect fret dress with nice rounded fingerboard & Jumbo frets for a played-in feel. Thin Nitro finish for great resonance. This rings beautifully un-plugged (sign of a great guitar).
This was custom-ordered. A one-and-only, 3-humbucker, Wrap-around tail and matching-color headstock Fleetwood. Near-mint. Only one tiny mark on the back edge by the strap button. (I accidentally bumped it lightly the first week I had it-aaarrgh) Other than that, It’s dead-mint with no other marks anywhere. Toasted nickel hardware. Standard Robin beefy neck. 3-way toggle switch for Neck/Neck+Bridge/Bridge, plus a push/pull on tone to add the middle pickup. Sounds crazy good with 3 Rio Grande pickups. BBQ Bridge & 2 Genuine Texas pickups in middle/neck. Plays superb. Great weight, especially for a larger, solid Mahogany guitar at 8lbs 9oz. She plays really comfortable sitting and hangs nicely on a strap too. And best of all… Looks freakin’ cool as hell. Comes with its dead-mint original Robin case too. Will be packed well and safe for shipping. This guitar has absolutely no issues and is just like new (except for the tiny mark mentioned above) Grab it quick, as many know, custom orders take quite a while.
$2,300. Shipped and Paypal’d. Sorry no trades as I mentioned, cash needed.
I'm open to reasonable cash offers.
