Classic w/ finish checking near neck joint

Tom or Roy,
There's a 3-color burst classic on ebay I'm interested in, but it has what the owner calls "finish checking" around the neck joint. It looks bad in the pictures ... almost like the wood around the neck joint might be cracking.

Would this worry you guys?

that's really common with the old style neck joint. those are deeper than most but i still would not be concerned about durability. if it were here, i'd remove the neck, see if i could spread the crack, then run some thin super glue in the crack if it were in the wood.
