Well after a year searching and reading all the sage advice on the Forum, I am happy to announce that I am now officially a TAG Owner.
I opted for something a bit out of the ordinary, but one that will certainly round out my stable for the tone I was missing. She should be here on Tuesday, I'll get her while I'm at work.
I was ready to jump when I decided to call Roy for a last opinion and impression and he cut me off after 2 sentences and said - "GET IT", I know the guitar you speak off well. The rest is history, this will be my B-Day Present only 2 months early.
To say that I am completely stoked is an understatement, the dealer has been very patient with me and sent close-up pictures to make sure I happy - overall a very pleasant experience.
BTW, you all should see her :D

And, the "survey says????"

BTW.............Congrats on your new membership in the TAG owners club!!
Oh, and photos are required!!

I am a goldtop lover since I first saw Michael Murphy's guitarist play at my high school in about 1974. I really don't think there is a finer single cut look. It looks PERFECT on the CT! I had been eyeing a Huber Orca goldtop but I am going to have to reconsider now. I'd love to stick to TAG quality, if I could.

I've always loved the goldtop look also. Seeing this reminded me to pull out an R6 that I have. After playing (wrestling) it for a few minutes, the tone was great as ever but the overall feel, ergonomics just felt "ugh".
It went back in the case and pulled out my Atom intsead to play with and is was like, "aaaahhhhh". :)

I'll post them as soon as it arrives, after playing it a while of course :D
I also have been very attracted to GT's in general, I had played an Atom and the sheer comfort was obvious. The controls seemed practical and no more than I need.
Elegant and Solid are two words that came to mind. While I love a finish that shows the figure of the wood the simplicity of the GT drew me in.

She has arrived, I'm not going to bore you with more pictures but trust me when I say that it is quite a specimen.
Nothing is out of place, no flaws from the guitar to the case. Did I mention the case :D
She has been officially named " RUSH " for the stunning finish.
Thanks to Tom Anderson Guitarworks for another job well done, ya'll should be proud of the work you do.
