Wow! Indeed, great news for you, but bummer about your bride. Here's one way to help manager her anxiety:

Take your wife to Newbury Park, California and arrange for a tour of TAGW. Roy gives an awesome tour but I hear Tom knows his way around as well. After speding a couple of hours in the presence of these wonderful people (meaning everyone who works at TAGW), your wife will be more than delighted to support their welfare through your (occasional and judicious) purchase of Tom Anderson Guitars.

Well, I'm actually only half (yes, half) joking. My wife stays quite tolerant of most of my purchases. She understands my passion for music and my huge appreciation of the quality of TA guitars.

She also knows my weakness when I go to a TA dealer. I almost always find something that I think I need to have. The wheels start turning-------trading, selling, etc. I've gone alittle crazy in the past.

Mainly wanted to let everyone know that Dave's is a very cool shop. It's about a 3 hour drive that I make at least a couple times a year. This just gives me even more of a reason to make the trip.
