I got my camera back so I can take some pictures of the current trio of TA's. With these three guitars, I'm in a very happy guitar playing world.

Markus... it's from the 07 batch.

Ha! I didn't even know that there was a '07 batch!
Looks like there's a special run more or less every two years... next time I sure won't miss it!
What do you use your Baritom for if I may ask?

Tom, add any corrections to what I'm saying..... Mine was from the "We're not making these any more batch." :)

Tom.... how did you decide to produce the Baritom's again?

What I learned from Roy at that time was.... it's a tough run of instruments, primarily getting the truss rod's in such low quantity.

I looked for one from Anderson in the 05-06 time frame and they weren't being produced. I purchased a Fender at the time... it wasn't bad but didn't sound or feel like my Anderson's do.

I was in CA and stopped by the shop, chatted with Roy, and they had enough interest that they planned a run of them in 07. I left CA that weekend and placed my order the following Monday.

I would suspect these might always be a bit uncertain, if there will be another group built, assuming enough interest and availabilty of materials at a reasonable cost.

It is a fair amount to put into a guitar for occasional use... but plug one of these into an amp and strum a E chord (B in Bari tuning) and grin....

Most of my gigs out are with a songwriter.... so I use it on some of his material. I don't think he has any songs posted on the web that I have recorded with it. I'll look and let you know.

Another player that I really like a lot.... that plays Baritone's a fair amount is GregV. You can hit his website at www.gregv.us. He put out a solo CD a few years back, several of the tracks are on his web site.... check it out. You may have heard of him, if you've checked out some of the amp vendor's sound samples around the web. He's all over the Bogner sound sample site.
Cool CD too.... I like his style and a talented player.

originally i just wanted to do it cause i thought it would be fun, didn't expect we'd ever sell very many, and we haven't.
we would do one or 2 a year which made them difficult to plan for and remember how to do:o . so we decided not to do them any longer. people started to call wanting them so i tild roy if we could get 6-10 people that wanted them we would do a run. it turned out to be 19 and that didn't leave one for me:(

Well Tom... sounds like to me that you'll have to do another run soon then. Can't be that you're without a Baritom yourself! ;) :D

Tom, do you have any plans for a limited run of the 7-String, or is that one well and truly finished?
