I've searched through the discussion threads for an answer to this question and didn't find one... What's the shaft diameter of the tremolo arm for the vintage trem bridge that uses a press-in arm? I love my drop top -- it's one of the most incredible guitars I've ever played!

The only minor nit I have is with the height of the trem arm off the body of the guitar due to the steep rake angle as it leaves the bridge. It causes me to have to raise my picking hand up away from the strings to reach for it. My preference is to simply extend my middle and ring fingers to touch it (which is characteristic of the trem arms on some of my other guitars). I'm hoping to find a trem arm for which the rake angle isn't as steep.

Thanks!

the fishman arm is .188", the newer gotoh is a little bigger. if you have the newer style and are looking for a longer or taller arm, the gotoh wilkinson arm will fit and you can cut the block end to taste.
