How much would you all pay for a MINT, used Crowdster with a solid rosewood neck?

Thanks,

Ryan

I have the opportunity to buy one from a guy online, and I am just curious what it is worth, and what I could easily resell it for down the road??

Also, what are the benefits / drawbacks of the rosewood neck??

Thanks!!

Ryan

It should cost as much as any other TA with a comporable new price. I'm assuming they cost as much as cobras or drop tops brand new, so I would look at the value of those guitars used. Magdon has a new one with a rosewood neck for a nice price. Benefits/drawbacks on the rosewood neck-tone is subjective so I won't comment on the benefits or drawbacks of that neck on tone. One drawback I can think of is that the rosewood neck is fairly heavy (at least the one on my cobra s is), so it may not be the best balance in the world when balancing against a hollow chambered guitar like the crowdster. One benefit I can think of is that those necks look very cool.

Well, I bid it up to 1950 I think. I was about to put in 2050 before the auction shut down. Very pretty guitar and that neck is interesting. Hope someone here got it?
