Wondering how to accomplish the wiring on my T Classic with 4-way switch.
I have a TD1 in the neck, a TM2 (according to the build sheet) in the bridge.
Tone pot has pull-function on it (from the factory), with 6 poles.
Both pickups have red, black, green, white and ground wires.
The 4-way is neck + bridge (series), neck, neck + bridge (parallel), bridge.
What I'd like to be able to do is split the coils (I guess turn off the stacked coils) by pulling up on the tone pot.
Is this possible? Is there a reason not to un-stack the pickups, other than single-coil hum?
Thanks

for me, those pickups in series would be so dark that it would be useless. you can certainly split on the push pull though.

Thanks, Tom.
So I guess my question is, on that push/pull pot, would I connect the green + white wires from each pickup to the top and bottom poles, and ground the middle poles?

if you want to split when pulled up, connect green and white form each pickup to the terminals closest to the pot, ground on the middle 2.
