How does this compare to the current drop top? Is it a Pro Am with a maple top?

it's a drop top with no drop. most were maple tops. sometimes we called any laminated top a "lam".

You mean the arm rest cut has no maple on it whereas the rest of the body does? Interesting... I remember you talking about this when you explain the vacuum lamination technique in the video, but I've never seen one of these older "No-Drop" Drop Tops...

yes, no forearm cut. this was pre vacuum bending.
