Testing the waters with a tear in my eye. Never thought I'd offer this one up. Interesting times we live in, hey? ...
Grand Am Lam (Hollow T)
Old (Fender Style) Headstock. 07/26/90.

Guitar is in Excellent - condition, with some fading of the gold on the volume and tone knobs and on the neckplate. Only very slight gold fading on the bridge. A few small pick marks and the like, but nothing at all close to a "ding" on this instrument. Headstock edges are pristine. True collector quality.
The pots are noisy and will require some attention. I've never attempted remediation. I'm sort of a "set it and forget it" guy.
Original owner had dealer replace factory bridge H2+ with an H3 prior to or immediately after taking delivery. I am the second owner. Otherwise, the guitar is stock.
As sweet and versatile this guitar is, the thing I like best is to rock out hard with the bridge full-on. The tone and power and depth of sound makes my LP jealous. Lots of other distinct and usable sounds to explore though - in your own good time.
I have exemplary references. On eBay I'm "golden-trust." I'd rather not offer this particular guitar in that arena.
I will consider selling here for best offer $2500 or better. I'm assuming that the handful of guitars with the old headstock have gained some collectible value by now, but I really haven't researched this and don't know. If not, I'll be happy enough keeping this one as long as the good Lord sees fit, and passing it on to one of my boys when I'm gone.
I'm just trying to pay for good summer camp experiences for the kids. The stocks I've held for this purpose unfortunately will no longer accomplish much of anything.
If there's interest in the guitar, I'll take more pictures and will email them upon request. Contact me at zapcosongs@yahoo.com if you're genuinely interested. Thanks! - Ed
