I started out today looking for a pic of a White HollowT sans pickguard and with a Maple Fretboard ......If someone has one can they post it ??

I have to make up my mind soon on a guitar ....I love my Hollow T Classic and figure if I get one with Humbuckers I will be set ..or my other thought was to go with another Crowdster Plus in Natural to replce the one I sold .

.. I already have a a Classic as well as a Cobra ...and the Hollow T . As much as I like /love my Cloud 9 Les Paul my back makes it very difficult to stand and and play anything except for my Hollow T Classic or my PRS Hollowbody II ......................

I know I rambled aimlessly but bottom line I am looking for a really ligtweight Doublehumbucker Guitar that sounds like my Les Paul but plays like my Hollow T!!!!!!!

light hollow guitars don't sound the same, but that being said i am also building a lighter guitar since i've had back problems lately and even the sub 8 lb ct has to go. i'm doing an odd ball which should be together next week. i really enjoyed playing my hollow t classic a couple weeks ago with the m's in it. it's a hollow atom(since i am most comfortable with that shape) in alder with a maple neck, 2 humbuckers which could morph into m's, and a vintage trem. oh, and it's going to be satin finished olympic white. i am wanting it to cover some of my ct territory, but also my htc ground. if you're more after the lp territory i'd be looking at hollow cobra or hollow atom.

Any chance of seeing a photo of your hollow atom when it's finished?

Tom, what happens to an Anderson guitar that you're personally using after you're through w/ it. Does it go to a dealer or do you just have a massive collection in the basement that it joins? :) Just curious....

they usually get sold, sometimes through a dealer and sometimes to friends or people who come through the shop. right now i have way too many guitars so i should think about selling some. will have to think about what should go.

Well Tom if you are willing to trade for any of your personal guitars...I've got a kidney, 3 toes, a set of Digital Drums, and a GNX3 I'd be willing to give up. :D

My Hollow Atom is awesome. Covers most stuff. Especially with the 5-way switch and push/pull tone split. Gets nice fat humbucker stuff and excellent in-between Strat tones, more than close enough for live. I wasn't sure if I would like a hollow-body after owning all solid-bodies for years. I'm sold on it. I still have a solid LP, but this covers what that does and more. Clean, the Hollow Atom is way better as it rings and is more open and bigger sounding, much better than the solid LP. Distorted, they are pretty close.

Has the HW2 in the Bridge and H1- in the neck. (I swapped the neck H1 for an H1-) Better neck tone. Oh, it weights... 6lbs 12oz with a solid Rosewood neck and Bigsby!!

yes, it's an all maple neck. kind of a htc woods and hardware thing, but with the atom shape(cause it's works best for me), but with humbuckers and shorter scale. a mutt for sure.

Hollow Cobra is covering a lot of this territory you describe (for me) plus some real cool tele-ish tones. Mine is way under 6 pounds.

Tom, would that be a hollow version of the new carved top atom, or the earlier flat top version?

yes, flat with top contour. with maple neck, hollow alder body, 2 HC's and a vintage trem it weighed in at 5.75 lbs. perfect for my aging back. it did all the things i love about my htc and still filled all my humbucking needs.
