M series in Hollow T Classic

Tom... have you played an M series PU in the neck position of a HTC? Just curious, did you get a similar tone in the middle position as with TV's?

yes we've done that. if you're asking if the middle position is similar to the normal tv1 tv3 combination, i'd say yes, but just a bit bigger.

Do you split the M series when the switch is in the middle? Of course I would imagine you have several switching options available.

I was refering to when the switch was in the middle with the TV1 TV3 combination.

the m1 wasn't really made for splitting. it was made to sound the way we wanted as a humcanceler. it would be very low output as a single coil.

put m series in everything - its the pickup from god - you can even wear three as a moustache and sideburns!
