Did anyone play or hear this amp at the NAMM show? It looks very interesting.
heard it briefly and it did sound very nice. many people came to our booth talking about it. they said they would send us one to listen to when they were available. sounds like it's a very different format for them.

I saw the amp at the Namm show. The simplicity of the knob layout really caught my eye. The amp does sounds pretty darn good and should be able to cover different styles pretty well. I was there with my buddy Larry from World Music Nashville and I believe he ordered a combo version for the store.
Oh yes, one interesting tidbit is that Mesa is now allowing online sales by it's usual dealer network. This is a big change to their business model, as online sales were never allowed They won't be selling through the large online outlets though. This should make it much easier for someone living a long distance from a Boogie store.
A Mesa/Boogie with six knobs?? SIX KNOBS???
Where'd the other knobs go?
:D

I'm assuming that the high gain mode was the last they played. Sounds like someone turned down most of the bass. I'd love to hear this thing in person. Hopefully they'll start popping up around here.

My buddy and new business partner, TAG artist, Producer Michael James (who says "hi" to Tom by the way), couldn't shut up about the Electra-dyne after playing both it and the Mark V at NAMM. First, he raved about the Mark V, but then he ordered an Electra-dyne for his studio. That by itself is high praise.
