re: 5 way switch on a Cobra

Hello All,

Can someone clarify for me? On a Cobra, with two Humbucking pickups, what pickups/coils are activated in each of the five positions of the selector switch (plus pull up on the tone knob)?

Switch all the way forward - neck pick-up

Switch 2nd position - split neck pick-up

Switch in middle position - Both humbuckers - pull the tone knob split humbuckers

Switch in 4th position - split bridge pick-up

Switch in 5th position - full bridge humbucker.

let me add to bluesjunkies post...I believe the neck single and bridge single (2nd and 4th positions) are the inner coils. If I am wrong you can always turn up and tap them with something and you will be able to tell what is on.
