Hello everyone. I'm Brad, an airline pilot from Cincinnati. I've never owned an Anderson before, but I've recently been outbid on a couple on ebay. I apologize in advance for all of the dumb questions I'm going to ask.

BTW, are these like Dr. Z amps? You know, where nobody can buy just one?:)

Yep.

I have three Z's and five Andys. Been though a dozen Andy's to settle on these. On the hunt for another.

I know you from the Z board also. This site is really cool too.

Good to see you here Brad. Yes the Andys are like Z's except in my case, I dont have a Z at the moment, but will always have my Anderson. Nothing on the planet plays like one of these.

I have 1 Andy, another on order, looking for another used.

And a Z KT-45 and (2) 1x12's convertibles (1 cel gold, 1 g12h30) shipping next week from the factory. Basically I always new about both of these companies but never tried their stuff. Since trying them I've sold pretty much everything else and started to stock up!

Hey Brad, Harry here. I am also on the Z Forum and have seen you a zillion times there. I currently have a Maz Jr NR 1x12 and a Maz Sr 2x12. For Andys I have 3; a Hollow T Classic, Classic, and a Cobra. They sound incredible with these amps. They really bring out the sound in terms of clean playing as well as overdriven tones. My Fenders never sounded as good as the Andersons through these amps. You gotta just play one and figure it out for yourself, A/B testing works for me.

Careful Brad. I bought my first TA only 3 weeks ago and have already added another. And all I can think about is getting the next one. First one, Cobra, forrest green burst, next was drop top classic, tiger eye burst. I must have a classic. I'm 56 and have worked for NASA for 29 years. I'm suppose to be more thrifty than this but boy I tell ya, I'm hooked badly. I'm really ashamed that has taken me this long to discover the best guitar made.

Thanks for the welcome, gents. I've pretty much narrowed down what I want my (1st?) Anderson to be.

If you come across one, please let me know.

Thanks,
Brad

That right there is heaven with strings on it. I just got a Classic right before the holidays, but I've owned a Cobra Special in the past and would really like the try out a Cobra with three P-90's. I hear there are some pretty cool alternate strat sounds with the 5-way. Good luck, Brad, and welcome to the TAG Forum!!

All I know is, my Anderson Hollow Cobra through my Z (both new to me) is absolute heaven.

Welcome!

I think there's one in Richmond, Virginia. PM me if you're interested! Might be blue, though.
