neck width

is a 1 5/8 happy medium cobra neck narrower up at the higher frets than a 1 11/16 nut neck? Seems like the bridge string-string spacing is the same in either case of 1 5/8 or 1 11/16. So, is the width up at the higher frets about the same for either neck?

all are the same at the body end. the nut width is most noticeable from 5th fret down
