I have a Hollow Cobra S with P90's in it. Are the TA P90's voiced differently than other makers P90's?
Also, What would be the difference in sound if I replaced the P90's with the Mini Humbuckers?
our p1- and p1 are pretty stock voicings. the p3 is hotter for sure.

How are the M1-M3 voiced? My new head shines with humbuckers.
I've read in the forum that the Mini's will fit into the P90 slots. Does anderson have covers for the Mini's.
Also can you split the coils on these with a push pull pot?
for me the m's sit in a middle ground between singles and humbuckers. depending on your choice and what they are going in they can lean either way.the m1 sounds like a big single coil to me. it works perfectly for me in the neck position. not as bloated as a humbucker but fuller than most single coils. to me it retains what i love about single coils when you dig in hard on them.
the M2 and 3 are bridge position only pickups and to me they go into the humbucking realm. they have a wider freq response more like a single, but fuller than any single. the m3 is in the med humbucking range but more defined. they can both be split.
they do not have covers, but we make a black subterrainian(sp) ring to fill in a p90 hole.

I would think that M pickups with covers would look really cool;)
Tom, or others, do you have any pictures of what a P90 converted to M guitar would look like?

I LOVE the M pickups. So very cool. For me they don't replace hums or singles...they just have their own unique sound, and it's very cool.

+1. I have them in a Cobra S and a DTC. Both are killer. Great for recording too, when you amp is flat out.
