I am probably the oddest of Anderson forum members. I do not yet own an Anderson. I have toyed with the idea for over a dozen years but have yet to pull the trigger. I have played for decades on strats and before that teles. I have a few asundy other axes. When I saw the used atom goldtop put up for sale by Rhys, I was intrigued. I am joining mainly in case another opportunity to buy a good used unit comes up and I could answer in a timely manner.

Anyway... howdy.

You'll not regret owning one...............

I have ten Strats and Teles that I rarely play becasue I have five Andersons.

You really ought to treat yourself! Definitely worth it.

Thanks, everybody, for the fine welcome. My name is cbguy and I'm a strataholic.

Seriously, living out in the boonies is probably the biggest drawback. If I was able to visit a local dealer (there are none) then I would probably have a room already devoted to them just like my acoustic buddy has with his Collings guitars.

I'm with Danno! (just substitute the 10 strats/teles for Charvels and LP's, and 4 Andersons):D

Absolutely worth it!

Welcome and I first got my hands on an Anderson at the tender age of 62 last year;) It was worth the wait but if I had known what I was missing I would have gotten one years ago. My other guitars no longer speak to me as they no longer get played. Get one you willl never regret it and welcome.

Where in the Pacific Northwest are you? There's a dealer in Bellevue Washington if that is anywhere near you.

... but the nearest Anderson dealer to me is McKenzie River Music in Eugene, Oregon, about 100 miles away. I might check out your tip when I visit my son in Bothell, though.

Thanks

I, too, live in the boonies. My nearest Andy dealer is an hour and 15 min drive each way.

WELL WORTH THE TRIP. The drive is a small price to pay to have an opportunity to experience an Anderson.

Maybe you can carpool with other guitar players? LOL.........

Make the trip. You'll be happy you did!!
